The AIDAprima is a cruise ship owned by the British-American Carnival Corporation & plc. The ship was built as the first ship of the Hyperion class by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan. The ship, which is used by the group brand AIDA Cruises, which is specially geared towards the German market, started cruises from Germany in the summer of 2016 and was used for cruises to the Middle East from the winter.
