Proteus Pattern Warhound Parts - A

Proteus Pattern Warhound Parts - A 3D print model

Description

The “new” Warhound design from is called Mars Pattern. I don't like it. So to keep in line with what GW has been doing with the Land Speeder, Land Raider, Missile Launcher, etc. let’s call the old (superior, epic time) design Proteus Pattern.

You can order the STL files for these replacement parts to print yourself. The body STL has been modified to add more thickness to the front part (my first order was delivered broken and I had to use greenstuff, see picture).

The weapons were magnetized via ∅3mm x 4mm magnets, and I superglued two nuts inside the body, it works very well.

Where did you get the leg armor, sir? Leg armor is not part of purchase. Not a problem, just looking for leg armor.

This was my initial intent when I started this, but I realized that the cost would be too high to justify for me. That being said, I recently printed a beetleback carapace in versatile plastic from Shapeways fot titanicus and the result was quite nice while far cheaper than resin. How would you handle printing? Details-wise, I could add some little things easily, it should globally scale very well. There are also the question of the body and arm mounts...

I have a Mono X printer so size isnt really an issue for me. I could use other 3d files I have to complete it.
