The Assault Raptor was a necessary outgrowth of the Project Gigante superheavy mech ( https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/miniatures/sci-fi/project-gigante-superheavy-fire-support-mech-in-28mm ) .
Gigantes are intended to defend against kaiju and megafauna invasions, but their heavy weaponry and thick armor made them vulnerable to lighter, faster targets such as juvenile kauju hunting packs and spawnling swarms.
Enter the Assault Raptor, a nimble, high-speed armored walker that can handle small and medium targets at close quarters, ripping them to pieces with motorized chain weapons or high-frequency oscillating blades.
Combined with lethal, but shorter-ranged, molten matter projection cannons, the Assault Raptor has proven itself time and again, scraping the biological menaces off the legs of the Gigantes, enabling them to perform their mission of killing monsters before they level entire cities.
Assault Raptors are piloted by Quads, or quadruple amputees, wounded veterans and civilian volunteers who have been maimed and disfigured by the invading megafauna. Body modifications are sometimes necessary for final adjustments, but replacement limbs are provided. These brave pilots are looking to exact some payback, and delight in pruning kaijus, one limb at a time.
The ample weaponry available to Assault Raptor pilots lets them tailor their loadouts to their favored fighting style, whether it be with swords, shields, or close-in blades.
All my Project Raptor designs are modular, and able to use each others' weaponry. This is all free, and constantly being updated, because I love tinkering with weapons.

Mounting/Modularity Options: You can glue your Raptors together in fixed poses (and just print more), or use 8mm x 3mm magnets in the shoulders, elbows, and weapon hard points to make them modular.Instructions are provided for the Raptor A, but they all are built on variations of the same template. Assault Raptor is actually a bit simpler, but has a wider included selection of weapons.
