Here's my 3D printable model of the Odyssey, Ulysses 31's ark-ship, as he travels the Universe in search of the path back to Earth, accompanied by his children and companions in stasis, punished by the gods of Olympus for having the audacity to strike down the Cyclops and save his son Telemachus.
This Franco-Japanese anime from the '80s, a futuristic transposition of Homer's Odyssey, left me with excellent memories and, at the time, sparked my interest in Greek mythology. I think it has aged rather well, and I still watch some episodes with pleasure.
This impressive city-sized vessel, which even houses gardens, is teeming with detail. Its design, with an eye-shaped structure, allows for an impressive amount of visible surfaces, each sublimated by a multitude of shapes on the hull.
The model shown, printed to 100% scale, measures almost 600 mm wide. As usual, each part can be printed in the right color or painted before assembly to achieve a nice result, no need to be an experienced painter. The Make shown in the photos was printed with my Anycubic I3 Mega, in 0.1 mm layers. The model is delivered with pdf assembly instructions, and I'm at your disposal for any support you may need. Happy printing to all.
