LEGACY EDITION — a maximally accurate and adapted for 3d-printing scale model of the original vehicle/equipment.
Fat Man - the code name of the atomic bomb developed as part of the Manhattan Project and dropped by the United States on the Japanese city of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, three days after the bombing of Hiroshima.
The bomb operated based on the decay of plutonium-239 and had an implosive detonation scheme. In fact, it was the Gadget device (the test of which, Trinity, was conducted on July 16 of the same year), equipped with an external casing.
The highly detailed model is designed for printing on an SLA/DLP 3D printer. The original scale is 1:35, but there should be no problems with scaling and printing in the 1:48 - 1:24 scale range. Feel free to experiment with other scales at your discretion.
