RAF Trolley-Acc Starter

RAF Trolley-Acc Starter 3D print model

Description

The classic Mk5 Trolley-Acc Aircraft starter trolley used from Late WWII up until at least the 1990s Supplied in two versions names ending in _48th for smaller prints (1/48th & smaller), and ending in _24th for larger (1/35th and up). Suitable for resin printing. Example shown is printed at 1/48th scale using a .02mm layer height.

Versions with cable stowed & with no cable fitted are provided - allowing you to add your own.

The model is in real world scale so divide by your desired scale (in metres) to get the correct size.
The model dimensions are X=2.0886m, Y=1.1434m, Z=0.7360 so a 1/48th model should be 4.35cm x 2.38cm x 1.53cm or mm equivalent in your slicer.
In Chitubox for example, you will just need to add the largest size in, and make sure the Lock ratio option is enabled.

Alternatively, just use 1388.888% for 1/72 scale, 2083.333 % for 1/48, 3125.000% for 1/32 No dimensions needed. If your slicer uses cm, then adjust the decimal place accordingly.

In what way does it "seem" wrong? It is made to 1:1 scale. You have to set the scale of the print. However. The Comments section is not the place to ask for help with printing the model, I am not notified by them. Please use the MESSAGE Icon on the Product page next to my name for that.

This looks like a beautiful rendition of the RAF trolley acc. Just one observation in that the aircraft plug you have drawn is incorrect for this type of trolley acc. It should be the rectangular type with three sockets, as seen on post-war aircraft such as Jet Provost, DH Devon, etc.

XVTonker. Yes. The round one is for older aircraft, and the rectangular one for later. However, you may want to look at the images showing that both options are possible, since 3 plugs types (Round, Oval male, Rectangular female) are supplied and so is a version of the trolley with no cable at all, so you can print the version that suits. The mesh is editable too, with the aid of Blender. This exact Trolley was in use from WWII up until "my time" in the late 1980s, so I am familiar with it.
