The prototype of the car was built by the Magor Car Corportion for the Southern Railway from 11/1969-1/1970 (Series 133000-133199) Later in the late 70s to the early 80s a few of the cars started to get modifcations on their upper sides strenghened with addition of outer plates. This might have been due to some inherent defect as other cars in this series were also modified that fashion. In any case it is a fact that all oversided woodchip cars were vulnerable to overloading when the chips managed to get waterlogged and also those cars probably have gotten handle rough and inhernet those defects with the shaker when they got unloaded. This HO Scale 1:87 Magor 100-Ton HS-45 Woodchip Hopper Pack STL files comes with 3 version body styles, small brake wheel platform, brake wheel and coupler box covers. The only thing that you need to complete this model is some 100-ton rolling bearing trucks with 36' metal wheels and metal couplers of your choice. Also you need 2-56 x 1/4 phillips pan head screws for the trucks and 2-56 x 1/8 phillips pan head screws coupler boxes.
