The prototype of the car was built by the Greenville Steel Company for the Southern Railway classed as the GS50 from 8-9/1985 (Series 139495-139724) One year later in 1986 the Greenville Steel Company was purchased by Trinity Industries Incorporated. Then later Norfolk Southern purchased 100 more cars from the now Trintiy Industries Incorporated but this time the cars was in the Norfolk Southern scheme with the Norfolk and Western subsidiary and classed as the G82. The cars was built from 2-4/1990 (Series 196000-196099) This HO Scale 1:87 Greenville GS50/Trinity G82 Woodchip Gondola STL files comes with the body, A and B platforms, brake wheel and coupler box covers. The only thing that you need to complete this model is some 100-ton rolling bearing trucks with 36' metal wheels and metal couplers of your choice. Also you need 2-56 x 1/4 phillips pan head screws for the trucks and 2-56 x 1/8 phillips pan head screws coupler boxes.
