Dice box - Death Guard

Dice box - Death Guard 3D print model

Description

I Wanted my own custom dice box to play my Death Guard army. Few hours of design and i'm very happy how it turned out. Just a little tutorial down here how I did it in just a few hours. But feel free to make your own version! Would love to see what you guys can make of it.

I Used 8 Ø5mm x 2mm magnets to close the lid.

  • Slice the model however your printer gives you the best result. No supports are needed!
  • Glue in the magnets (Holes provided). Make sure all magnets face the same direction of you wont be able to close the lid. Just tet it a few times before you glue it.
  • I used a grey primer with a little spray of white over it to give it a bit more highlights.
  • Then the Death Guard green primer in a thin layer.
  • White paint on the logo's and bottom tray
  • Black on the text.
  • I used Tesseract Glow on the edges of the logo's and bottom tray to create a deeper look when filled with epoxy.
  • A heavy dry brush on the entire box with a light color green (Ogryn Camo)..
  • I dry brushed the text with gold and silver.
  • After the painting is done use the varnish of you choice. For his I went with a satin look.
  • Then cast the logo's and bottom of the tray with a nice epoxy. I used yellow and a little green to get that toxic collor.

Good luck and please show your results.
