Scorpion is a specter ninja and one of the main game characters in the Mortal Kombat franchise. His real name is Hanzo Hasashi in his human form, mentioned in the games previously but never shown nor playable which has now been introduced from Mortal Kombat X.Two years after being killed by Bi-Han, Scorpion returns to Earthrealm, reborn as a ninja specter, and enters Shang Tsung's tournament. If he defeated Sub-Zero, he would take revenge for what Quan Chi told him about his clan. (pictured in Mortal Kombat 4), but if he were defeated again, his soul would be consumed. After Goro and Liu Kang's battle, his revenge was finally completed and he managed to kill Sub-Zero, Bi-Han. Shortly after, Scorpion returns. the Netherrealm for having fulfilled its mission.
