Samurai Cavalry

Samurai Cavalry 3D print model

Description

Intended for 3d print.

This model pack contains a regiment of Samurai cavalry. The horse was imported to Japan in the 4th century, and riding a horse became a privilege of the noble classes. Not even all samurai could afford a horse, so mounted samurai were usually members of the higher, wealthier nobility. The bow was the most common weapon for mounted samurai, though use of lances became more common in the 15th century (note that the weapon for these particular models is a naginata, not a lance).

The regiment includes 20 unique cavalry models in total, plus one base. See image gallery for a depiction of all included models. The horses all use one of 4 different poses (at rest, charging, rearing and splayed legs). The riders all use one of 5 poses (at attention, swinging, riding hard, charging with the naginata, and striking to one side). The 20 models included in this pack all use different combinations of the above poses.
