Rocket and Groot!
With all these Baby Groots flying around the internet to print, I felt Big Groot needed some love again! Reminiscent of the scene in the Jail where Rocket is on Groots back and he is growing defensive bushes (would have loved to add more but wanted to keep it relatively print friendly)
Don't fear the twigs, they are not as tricky to print as they look. Use supports, I used meshmixer for my prints, but normal supports will be fine - I just find meshmixer provides a good alternative and uses less filament (although can be trickier to configure supports for your machine) Simplify3D's auto support should see you fine alternatively.
The test print you see hand painted in the photo took around 7 hours to print at 0.2mm, it was printed in ABS but prints also fine in PLA.

Hi,
your Rocket Raccoon looks really good.
Is it possible to get this Rocket without the Groot?
I have printed a Groot, but i dont find really good
STL´s from Rocket.
