Nothosaurus was a marine reptile that lived during the Triassic period, around 240 to 210 million years ago. Measuring up to 4 meters (13 feet) in length, it had a streamlined body with elongated limbs and webbed fingers, which made it an efficient swimmer. Nothosaurus had a long neck and a narrow head with sharp, conical teeth, adapted for catching fish and other small marine animals. Its fossils have been found in Europe, Asia, and North Africa, offering significant insights into the diversity and adaptations of early marine reptiles.
