Halszkaraptor was a small theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 75 million years ago. Measuring approximately 1 meter (3.3 feet) in length, it had a unique combination of features that suggest it was semi-aquatic. Halszkaraptor had a long neck, similar to modern waterfowl, and sharp, curved claws on its forelimbs, indicating it was a skilled swimmer and possibly hunted fish. Its fossils have been discovered in Mongolia, providing significant insights into the diversity and ecological adaptations of theropod dinosaurs.
