Giganotosaurus

Giganotosaurus 3D print model

Description

Giganotosaurus was a massive theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 98 to 97 million years ago. Measuring up to 13 meters (43 feet) in length and weighing up to 8 metric tons, it was one of the largest known land predators. Giganotosaurus had a large skull with sharp, serrated teeth designed for slicing through flesh and powerful hind legs for swift movement. It had relatively short arms with three-fingered hands. Fossils of Giganotosaurus have been found in South America, providing significant insights into the diversity and adaptations of large theropods in the Cretaceous period.
