Eagle (Aquila) - a genus of birds of prey of the family Hawk (Accipitridae), subfamily Hawk (Accipitrinae) or Eagle (Aquilinae), depending on the source of classification (all representatives) can be called eagles, although usually the term eagle is broader. Eagles are not a natural group, the name refers to any bird of prey large enough to hunt large (about 50 cm long) vertebrates.
The strongest and largest representative of this genus is the golden eagle. It is able to attack small deer, elk, large and small rodents.
