Carnotaurus was a unique theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago. Measuring up to 9 meters (30 feet) in length and weighing approximately 1.5 metric tons, it was distinguished by its two thick, bull-like horns above its eyes and a short, deep skull with sharp teeth. Carnotaurus had a slender body, powerful legs, and extremely small arms, suggesting it was a fast and agile predator. Fossils of Carnotaurus have been found in South America, offering valuable insights into the diversity of theropod dinosaurs.
