Another bug for 3D printing in the family... This time it's a beetle, namely, Carabus (Procrustes) coriaceus. It's a pretty accurate model of the species. This model was sculpted in Zbrush, and then exported to .stl. It printed fine. The model consists of few meshes, that are not booleaned together, so if you need even smoother surface of, say, legs, you can easily subdivide them. The model is pretty heavy, it's 2,5 mln tris. Basemesh will be available for purchase separately.
Hope you enjoy it!
PS: If you have any questions/ requests concerning the model, please don't hesitate to contact me.
