Enter Anurognathus ammoni, one of the tiniest pterosaur species that ever lived! I wanted to print a lifesize pterosaur for ages, so I know I kind of cheated by picking the smallest one, but it still works!
There's two versions for it: one lifesize version and one miniature version. I really wanted to have it in flight, as I've been planning on printing a lifesize version that I want to hang from the ceiling, but I also realised that wasn't the perfect pose for it as a mini. Kind of sad to make it just lie on its base, right? That's why I made it soar over a conveniently placed rock base. The model is also split up into chunks that will be easy to place on the buildplate of an FDM printer. You can opt to have the entire model split into parts (head, body, wings, rock if desired, make sure to print the left wing with pin if you want it to be sitting on the rock!), creature split from rock (anurognathus model and rock separate) or as a full model (everything merged together! Version with or without rock). I hope that wasn't too confusing, I've attached a couple of pictures to show what I did.
