The Wells Fargo Center is a 774ft (236m) tall skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Built in 1988, this building is one of master architect César Pelli's most beloved works. Designed in the Postmodern style, the building take strong cues from the distinctive geometric vertical focus and stepped form of art deco skyscrapers from decades earlier. While it is not the tallest building in Minneapolis, it is perhaps the most recognizable and most prominent building in the skyline. At night, its upper setbacks are illuminated by a dazzling array of colorful flood lights that make the building's presence unmistakable.
