The Ritz Tower is a 541ft (154m) tall skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan designed by Emery Roth and Thomas Hastings. The beaux-arts building features an eclectic mix of architectural details such as obelisk spires, windows topped with French Renaissance broken pediments, and flowery cartouches. Construction completed in 1927, making the building one of the tallest buildings in New York City. It was among the first residential skyscrapers to rise in Manhattan in the 1920s.
