An ornate display case for you to properly display your favourite miniatures in. Made to resemble a niche from classical architecture. The display case is intended for use with miniatures in scales ranging from 20mm to 54mm. The .stl files are prescaled to suit 28mm scale. You may have to resize the model parts depending on the size and shape of the model you intend to put on display.
The display case kit includes parts intended to display character stats and other information about the model you put on display. Read detailed parts description below for more information.
Some assembly required.
The parts included in the kit are currently geared primarily towards use with the Warhammer and D&D gaming systems. If you would like parts displaying stats for other games (Shadowrun attributes, Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L ruleset, et cetera), contact me and I'll make some.
DETAILED PARTS DESCRIPTION
Main Body. This model part includes the niche itself, the smaller side niches, the back wall where you can add a stat scroll, and the sloping back platform where you can add stat stones.
Name Plaque. This model part is a flat, blank sign that you can place below the main niche or elsewhere on the main body. You can write your character's name or other information on it by hand.
Roof. This model part is the roof portion of the display case. You can choose to use it, or leave it out- the display case works either way.
Blank Stat Scroll. This model part is a large scroll that can be mounted at the back of the display case (or, if you shrink it, anywhere else you want). The scroll is left blank to enable you to add whatever you like to it by hand (character stats, biographies, some kind of graphics et cetera).
D&D Stat Scroll. This is the same scroll, but with the traditional D&D abilty scores (strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom and charisma) added in raised letters. You can paint in numbers after the letters by hand. If you have a favourite D&D player character you want to make a nice visual presentation of, you can include its main stats in the presentation this way.
WHFB Stat Stones: This model part is 10 different stone squares on top of 10 blank plaques. Each stone has one traditional Warhammer stat etched into it (movement, weapon skill, ballistic skill, strength, toughness, wounds, attacks, initiative, leadership and saving throw). You can add numbers on the plaques below the letters by hand. The stones come in two variants, indented lettering and outdented lettering. You can print every stat stone individually, and choose which stats -if any- you wish to add to the display case.
Character: One generic hero character in a somewhat statuesque pose. Can easily be replaced by any miniature model of your choice.
