The Manhattan Municipal Building is a 580ft (177m) tall skyscraper in New York City. Located at 1 Centre Street in Lower Manhattan, the building towers over City Hall Park. The building was constructed in 1914 to house the offices of the city, whose recent consolidation of its boroughs demanded larger administrative facilities. It's design, the work of prominent firm McKim, Mead & White, is a unique spin on a Neoclassical Style. Atop the building's lofty crown stands a 25ft (7.5m) tall golden statue titled Civic Fame, designed by Adolph Alexander Weinman. At the street level, a large colonnade adorned with engravings commemorating the history of New York guards the tower's entrance. Behind the grand entrance gate is a 4-story tall archway that runs underneath the building's central tower to a public plaza surrounded by multiple government facilities.

Because of the building's large size and unusual geometry, there are multiple ways to print this building. The colonnade and archway at the base of the building features many freestanding columns. Many 3D printers may run into issues getting these columns to adhere to the build plate properly. Because of this, there is an STL file that connects the columns to the rest of the structure on the first few layers to aid with adhesion.It is also possible to print the building in 2 pieces, separated at the 25th floor. This may be ideal for those who have smaller printers or those who wish to print the tower in finer detail than the rest of the building.
