Hunkiar Mosque in Constanta 3D print model

Geamia Hunkiar also known as Geamia Aziziye is the oldest Muslim place of worship in Constanța. The construction of the historical monument took place between 1861 and 1869. The window is built in Moorish style, from ancient stone blocks, having a square-shaped main body that houses the prayer hall and a minaret whose height reaches 24 meters.

The Hunkiar window was in danger of being demolished in 1942 due to the damage sustained a year earlier due to the bombing of Constanta by Soviet aviation. In the sixth decade of the last century, the window was restored, but only after 1989 was it returned to the faithful.
