This is the renovated 1960's Ercol Windsor Quaker Chair (model 365). I love this model and decorate my home with real Quaker chairs. There are also a lot of fans of this chair so I decided to design it for 3d printing lovers.
This iconic piece was designed by Lucian Ercolani and manufactured in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and is now back in fashion (keenly collected and highly regarded). Ercol furniture is synonymous with good design, quality materials and craftsmanship and is built for longevity. This is a real eye catching piece of vintage retro furniture which is currently back in production and sale however no longer made from an English Elm wood.
Thereal chair has a solid English elm seat (light finish) with beech backs, spindles and legs. The seats are showing some lovely complex elm grain. Each subtly fashioned back consists of 5 turned spindles within a tall arched frame. The well constructed solid elm seats are inset beneath with angled tapering legs which provide perfect support, and matching H pattern stretchers help to bolster the chairs structural rigidity.
I hope you like it.
