The American Radiator Building, now known as the Bryant Park Hotel, is a 338ft (103m) tall skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan. The building was designed primarily by Raymond Hood, whose other masterful works include the Rockefeller Center and Chicago's Tribune Tower. The American Radiator Building stands as one of the most cherised landmarks above Bryant Park. The tower boasts gleaming gold accents and rich art deco ornamentation. Completed in 1924, this building is one of New York's earliest examples of art deco architecture, setting the standard for iconic buildings for a decade to come.
