Exclusively designed and extremely beautiful ring with Indian national sign The ASHOKA CHAKRA. It features four Asiatic Lions standing back to back. They are mounted on an abacus with a frieze carrying sculptures in high relief of an elephant, a galloping horse, a bull, and a lion, separated by intervening spoked chariot-wheels. The capital was originally crowned by a 'Wheel of Dharma' Dharmachakra popularly known in India as the Ashoka Chakra. The Ashoka Chakra is a depiction of the Dharmachakra; a wheel represented with 24 spokes in Buddhism and as well as Hinduism and Jainism. It is called so because it appears on a number of edicts of Ashoka, most prominent among which is the Lion Capital of Ashoka. The most visible use of the Ashoka Chakra today is at the centre of the Flag of India. Ashoka Chakra was included in the middle of the national flag of India. The circular Ashoka Chakra illustrates the progressiveness of the country. The chakra, which features in the middle of the tricolour, has twenty-four spokes. It was adopted on July 22, 1947. Each spoke on the chakra symbolises one principle of life and also the twenty-four hours in the day, which is why it is also called the ‘Wheel of Time’. Some of the twenty four principles that the spokes represent are — love, courage, patience, selfsacrifice, truthfulness, righteousness, spiritual knowledge, and faith, among others.
