For 73mm x 118mm switches. Protrusion is 20mm. Perfect for covering non-smart switches or other switches that you don't want people to touch. I needed to cover light switches so that guests would use smart switches for my airbnb. This design slips over the Voltex or Clipsal 73mm x 118mm outer switch easily, and comes off with a small amount of friction, leaving no scratches. Print as many as you need. You can paint them if your filament is the wrong colour.
Instructions:After you have paid, you will be able to download the STL file. You will need to convert this to a GCode file so your specific 3D printer understands it. Do this with CURA free software. Most 3D printers are not wireless and use a MicroSD card - so you will need a MicroSD slot on you computer if you own a 3D Printer. You can buy them from Amazon. They just plug into a USB port. MicroSD Card and TF Card are two names for the same thing. If your MicroSD card is in your PC slot while converting an STL file to a GCode file in Cura, Cura will usually detect this and offer to save straight onto the card by default. If not, copy the GCode file from your PC to the MicroSD card, eject it, put it in your 3D printer, select the light switch cover file, and press print. You will need to own a paint scraper to help you get prints off your printing plate, or better still, get a detachable plate cover that you can remove after each print, then bend it slightly so your prints pop off at the edges.
