I've created this custom LED-light for a friend's kid, named Lewis obviously. I printed the black part in PETG since I had plenty, but PLA should do just fine. The white part is printed as thin as possible, since the light needs to go through. I printed this part in PLA.
Both the white as the black parts are split in two due to their size. The black halves need to be glued together. After that I started adding the LED-strip. Just follow the (in)sides and go around the whole thing. Next, glue the the white blinds on top of it and you're done. I used a RGB LED-strip with a remote controller, so you can change brightness, color etc. I've also added a small prop you can use to tilt the lamp a bit.
