DESCRIPTION

This is a model of the bracket that joins the blade to a ceiling fan. It's one of the most common type, but there are several others. The model is given to 1:1 scale and can simply be printed on a regular FDM type printer with ABS. PLA might work too, but it's more britle. Made in ABS, it is actually more resistant than the original metal bracket. That would prevent it from breaking again so easily. The metal ones are so fragile as a safety feature, so that if you put your hand in the blades path while it's moving, it will break, not your hand. An ABS bracket will not break as easily, so choose materials wisely and at your own risk.
