Description

This is a Trofast system railing. This railing allows you to add a Trofast compatible drawer to the underside of a table or desk, as long as you do not mind screwing into the desk. This mount can give extra storage to a desk or table, that would otherwise have no drawers or storage.

Print Instructions

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Supports: No
  • Orientation: Place the side of the piece on the print bed, so the piece will be printed vertically

Pieces (for each drawer you intend to mount, you will need…)

  • 2 to 4 Trofast system railings (model available in lengths of 50 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm) (included)
  • 4 to 6 screws (in the files the shaft diameter of the required screw is 5 mm and the head diameter is 10 mm with a head thickness of 5 mm) (not included)

Installation

  • Place your two Trofast system railings on the bottom of the piece of furniture, you intend to mount them to.
  • Insure the two railings are the correct distance from each other and parallel to each other, so that the bin will fit into them.
  • Mark the holes in the railings with a pencil.
  • Drill the screws through the holes in the railing into the piece of furniture.
  • Place the drawer inside the two railings.
  • If you would like to add a backstop, you can repeat this process with another railing behind the bin.
