This is a remix of the supercool cute owl model to make it a wall lamp.https://www.printables.com/model/743015-cute-low-poly-owl-no-supports(Original author is a really nice guy check him out)
You can buy it on printables too: https://www.printables.com/model/1261529-cute-owl-lamp
I hope you'll like it :D(If the price is too high we can talk about it, im just a student trying to make some money)
The owl is aprox. 18 x 12 x 11 cm and the whole width with the light projection is aprox 1.5m(use this size if you print it for the parts to fit)
Soldering is required!
To make it
Best to use some white filament but it works with any light color (i've made a marble one too)
It works with usb C (2m is needed most of the times but depends where you hang it)
Warm LED (3500K) looks the best in my oppinion but really use any you can
130g of filament
All of the parts i used are linked below
Read through first if you don't know how electronics work.
Solder out the resistor shorting the 12V and short the 9V pad on the usb modul or just use a 5V cheap charger (if the charger can't put out the correct Voltage for the modul it will just fall back to 5V standard) for me the 9V solder is just for safety.Ofc black to negativ and red is positive. Its importand to wire the converter modul correctly (input to in and the LEDs to out like on the image).Between the input cable from the usb on the bottom and the converter modul is the switch with a short cable (i choose the positive for the switch but it doesn't matter)You can adjust the voltage with a screw and a multimeter, the input should be either 5V or 9V and the output is your choice (i use 11V to prevent heating) more Voltage will result in brighter LEDs but more heat. Adjust it before you solder on the ledstrips!!!!Use some double sided tape for the converter, it has a little shelf behind the switch.
Heat shrink the cables where it's necessary or use insulation tape. To prevent the screw from shorting the switch cover that with tape (it's not a big deal but you wont be able to turn it off, if it does)

5630 LED 60/m (i've used a similar one) https://tinyurl.com/3vzp95jx
5630 LED 120/m https://tinyurl.com/4s3jt659
If you fear of it overheating like me, use one of these and set it to about 11V (instead of 12V) https://tinyurl.com/msftmtc5
Usb C PD modul https://tinyurl.com/2z9f4ddr

black-red cable any spare cable should be good (i've used 22 awg) https://tinyurl.com/ssp8avde
Usb C cable 2m https://tinyurl.com/bwd478zp
Other:
dubble sided tape for the dc-dc boost converteri've used superglue for the cable on the sideit happens sometimes that you must cut out a bit from the Usb modul bay for it to fit (i'll make a better version later)
