BULLET CATCH 3D PRINT MODEL

This model is HI POLY and suitable for 3D Print or CNC machine carving. This model has no textures.

Could a man stop a bullet between his teeth?

No. The “bullet catch” is a stage-magic trick that’s been performed since the development of modern cartridge firearms.

There have been numbers of stage magicians who perform the trick, and Penn and Teller used to do a version where they “shot” each other simultaneously.

There have been injuries and deaths…But always due to malfunction of the “gaffed” (altered) weapon involved.

No actual bullet is fired, and no bullet is “caught”… the bullet that the performer produces after being “shot” is palmed or otherwise concealed beforehand.

One of those history-channel shows had a whole hour-long segment on the history of this trick… One fellow was killed when his rifle actually exploded! The real cartridge went into a concealed space in the rifle while a blank that had been previously palmed went into the chamber.

Over a couple of years of use, a great deal of powder residue built up in the phony chamber, and this eventually blew up….
