3d printed gravity toothbrush holder that uses one pinion and 3 racks system, the tension it kept by a rubber band but you can use a small spring depending on the weight of the object you place, you can use the holder for several objects in a bathroom, such as a trimmer or clipper. The opening between the arms is 38mm, if you want a larger opening you can scale all the components of the object and for every 20% scaling the distance between the arms increases by approximately 8 mm,for assembly the arms and pins come in two tolerances 0.2mm and 0.3mm if you consider you can use glue to fix the arms and pins. Mounting the holder on the surfaces is done with double adhesive tape.
