A revision of something I created years ago, the clip on shelf hooks have served me well, giving me another place to store and dry mugs, spatula, and small pans. Easy to print and easy to assemble, the shelf hook is hand and user friendly. Designed for a standard shelf, with a 15 to 16mm thickness, the clip grip the shelf, offering enough leverage to consistently hold things dangling from the hook. The clip extends far enough into the shelf lip to maintain position. Even with a thicker shelf, clip and hook can be scaled up to fit, if necessary. The end of the clips is generally thin enough to allow most shelf doors to close without obstruction, if your shelves have doors.
I've printed in PLA and Resin, using them for years without issue. After 2 or 3 years, one of the resin clips broke as I was adjusting its position. Given that resin can be rather fragile, it heldup well for many years. None of the resin hooks have broken, nor have the PLA hooks or clips shown any sign of wear. Over time, the grip of the clip will loosen, relative to the quality of filament or resin. Gravity and time are difficult to counter, but even my loose clip keep working without issue.
