3d-Printer Friendly Version (See disclaimer at end of description)This is an exact replica of the Large (1.5) Dialight/Dialco Panel Light (MPN:51-3402-01-301) used in the 1960's television series, Lost in Space. It was used on several props, most notably the Robinson family's faithful robot companion (commonly known asRobot B9"). I modeled this directly from an original that I purchased, after countless measurements were taken. This model includes threads and interior structure (including double-walled lenses) as found on the original part. Eagle eyed Sci-Fi fans will also spot these lenses in many other films and shows through the 60's and 70's. A coveted discontinued panel light component for prop builders and enthusiasts.
For members of the 3d printing community... I reccommend using this model on resin printers (as they can generally handle smaller-detailed or higher resolution models. If you happen to have a very capable extusion printer (or just want to give it a go), feel welcome to do so. Let me know how it goes! The assembly order is shown in the last image. I also have a non-3d printable model listed on this site, which is already assebled and ready to use for other projects. Cheers!
