ATTACHED IS A LINK DIRECTLY TO THE FILES IN STL FORMAT
Ironman Mark 85 V5 Helmet 3D Printable Model with Interior Details forcosplay. This was modeled using CGI reference for 100% exterior accuracy.
This model includes:
- Mutliple parts
- Built-in decorative motorization
- Lip motorization
- Full inner detail
- Magnet mounts
- Nano detail stencil
- Wiring diagram
- Code
Files are 3D printable and motorization mounts will use M3 screws and M3 heat-set threaded inserts. The magnet size are 10x2 mm.
These 3D helmet and motorization parts have been been test printed before uploading in order everything works. Suggestions are welcome! Please leave a comment and an honest review with your thoughts about the design!

I just bought it, and im already printing. i try to figure out where the cables go and where is the place for on/off switch and arduino Nano ? Cant find any manual for that. Thank you

What length of M3 threaded insert should i get?

I am currently building mine and I used the M3x4x5mm (4mm length) but I am still having issues putting them in. The hole is very narrow and when I push it in the amount of plastic being heated is pushed down and then when the plastic accumulates at the bottom it pushes up through the threads. When it cools I cannot get the screw in. Any longer threads make it worse. I am not sure what is the best method to install them.
I did find some M3 x 3mm(L) x 4mm(OD) from uxcell on Amazon I am going to try out. 1mm smaller in diameter and length may do the trick.

use Heat Set Insert Tool with Heat Set Tips M2/M2.5/M3/M4/M5/M6(1/4)/M8
if you resize the helmet that will be the problem.

If you were replying to me, I did not resize the helmet. I printed the size the files came in. But I did get better inserts that were smaller.

I finally got around to trying the M3 x 3mm(L) x 4mm(OD) from uxcell I got on Amazon and they worked out perfectly.

Hi there, just purchased the ironman mark 85 helmet, inside the stl files, the side panel left is missing, and other parts of the motorization are missing too... or do I have to mirror them ? also the lip parts, doesn't make sense.

yes, you just mirror them. There is no missing parts.
