WINDOW FRAMES FOR 7MM SCALE O GAUGE MODEL RAILWAY BUILDING 3D print model

I have created a set of windows for a building I'm making for my 7mm/ft or 1/43 scale O gauge model railway.

I have made 6 different widths of window frame, suitable for openings of 11.5mm-69mm in 7mm scale, representing 0.5m, 1m,1.5m, 2m, 2.5m & 3m widths in the real world. All are 23mm (representing 1m) tall.

Each window frame is slotted on the top edge to allow thin sheets of glazing material to be inserted into grooves around the inside of the frame. This provides a neat and secure way of holding the glazing in place. I cut my glazing from acetate sheets bought from a craft supplier. In the photos I'm using a pice of white card to demonstrate this as it shows up better.

Each window frame has a 3mm flange for ease of gluing to the inside of your model building.

My model building isn't in the best neighbourhood. Crime and vandalism are sadly too common. If you need extra security for your model buildings I have also created security bars and mesh grilles in sizes to suit these window frames. Follow the links below:

I sliced the files in Lychee and printed on my Anycubic Photon Mono X using Siraya Tech fast resin.
