Description
Star Pack Climbing Holds
A pack of 10 climbing hold files plus 2 bonus files. This pack includes jugs, pinches, crimps, edges, ledges, a pocket, and a foothold.
This is my first large collection of climbing holds that I've designed so enjoy! I've used them quite a bit on my home training wall and they have certainly made climbing at home much more viable, as having more versatile holds makes climbing a lot more fun. And buying climbing holds is extremely expensive so I've opted to design a bunch of my own to use as it's a MUCH cheaper alternative.
Holds included in the pack:
- Blue Rhino Edge
A big edge to crimp on with two hands
- Blue Cranial Pinch
Large slightly positive pinch
- Red Undulated Pocket
Pocket hold for two fingers
- Blue Rock Fungus Edge
An edge for half crimping with maybe a slight thumb catch, could be used as a mini jug on more vertical walls
- Yellow Behemoth Ledge
A large ledge that can be used for reaching far to with a slight pinch or used in compression or even layback boulders, this is a versatile hold with many different capabilities
- Pink Clam Jug
A medium sized jug
- Purple Layered Crimp
A medium sized crimp with an incut edge that may require a full crimp depending on the wall angle
- Purple Cobble Ledge
This incut ledge hold can be used as a small jug or an undercling
- Small Pink Layered Crimp
A small crimp but with a nice incut edge that probably doesn't require a full crimp on most wall angles
- Red Colony Foothold
A generally larger size foothold that can be used on any wall angle and has a moderately sized edge#### Bonuses:
- a. Blue Rhino Crimp
A smaller version of the Blue Rhino Edge that is a small crimp that will probably require full crimping on moderately angled walls
- b. Small Blue Cranial Pinch
A smaller version of the Blue Cranial pinch that presents more of a challenge than its larger counterpart
The Yellow Behemoth Ledge and Blue Rhino Ledge were printed diagonally to fit on a standard size 3D printer.
All holds have at least 1 bolt hole and 1 screw hole, or 2 screw holes to prevent spinning of the holds. If there is a hold that you think doesn't need bolts leave a comment and I will upload a version with only screws.
I printed these holds with at least 30% infill and 5 walls, however, I only weigh about 145 pounds so please be responsible and print the holds strong enough so a hold doesn't break. I have never had one break on me in any way even when screwing them to the wall with an impact driver.
My next pack will be a bunch of holds with a similar theme, but for my first pack I wanted a bunch of different types of holds to offer a variety!
Thank you!
