We found ourselves with a pair of broken Shure antennas. The holder with a microphone stand thread was gone and with no chance of gluing it back together for intense road use. I then came up with the obvious solution: use my printer.
This is a new holder for the Shure UA870 antenna. I used an Audio-Technica microphone holder bottom part because we have a lot of spare ones, but any other should do.
The replacement mount slides easily, with no need to sand the broken part or exposed fiberglass. After being put in place, markings for the 2 holes for the screws can be made. The replacement in the pictures was printed Elegoo Water-washable black Resin on a Mars2 Pro printer. So it's a solid object. Specs:
Happy fixing!
