Rick Sternbach TNG Concept Tricorder 3 3D print model
Description
A flip-open Tricorder based on Rick Sternbach's early Star Trek the Next Generation designs.
Includes versions with a magnetic or screw-on base. With or without the hinges, so you can add your own as you see fit.
There is allowance for electronics and wiring, including to magnets that can hold the top closed and complete an electrical circuit.
I recommend using 2 metal pins/nails in either end of the hinge to allow wiring to run through the centre.
