For a while, I have wondered why people put small square speaker enclosures in the round hole of the smoke box. I kept wondering why people don't use round enclosures to maximize the space in the round area of the smoke box. All the sound chip providers send out square enclosures for the sugar cube speaker.
So I decided to design a circular tube enclosure for an 11mmx15mm sugar cube speaker, the outside diameter of the enclosure is 12mm. With this round enclosure, you are likely to get a better sound with it being a bigger enclosure.
Three designs vary in length and can be downloaded and printed depending on how much room you have in the smokebox hole.
For printing, I would recommend it gets printed on a 3D resin printer.
I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
