I'm always on the lookout for new items to design and this is a lineside hut design I saw a while and thought it would be a great addition to my designs.
In the past lineside buildings where common place on the railways and i'm trying to replicate some of these so people can print them and use them on their model railways.
This item has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale, For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale, For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale, For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale, For N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
The example in the pictures was printed on an AnyCubic Proton M3 3D resin printer and a Bambu Labs A1 FDM printer. I have produced a resin version and a FDM version, on the FDM version the window frames are thicker so it can be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle. The FDM version maybe better if printing on a resin printer for smaller scale layouts. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
