Balustrade stone detailing is commonly found on buildings, stations, bridges, and other similar locations.
I have also created a version of this item without pillars.
This is a design I have been meaning to do for a while and it has so many uses. The design consists of two lengths between pillars of 6ft (1.8m) and 12ft (3.6m) lengths and is approx. 3ft high (0.9m). Which equates to 24mm and 48mm long and 12mm high in OO. The pillars are just under 4ft high (1.2m) and in OO they are just under 16mm in height.
I have designed this as a kit with end pillars, 90-degree pillars, and end to end pillars (Please see photos), then the length sections fit between the pillars.
This item has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale, For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale, For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale, For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale, For N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
The example in the pictures was printed on an AnyCubic Proton M3 3D resin printer. I recommend printing these on a 3D resin printer to get the best print definition. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
The main resins I use for printing can be found with my affiliated links below. I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
