Concrete Drainage Pipes are used all over the world for drainage and are perfect for a construction scene.
After searching the internet for some technical drawings to create these designs I decided on two sizes to model. I may do a large pipe design at a later date. These designs were taken from an imperial design. The pipes in real life are 8ft long (2.4m), the diameter is based on the internal dimension and I choose 12inch (300mm) and 18inch (460mm) The pipes are modeled in OO scale and are approx 32mm long, the internal dimensions are 4mm and 6mm. I have created the pipes as single items and in a stacked form. The individual pipes can be joined together to create a long pipe or stacked in any way you need.
These have been designed at OO Gauge, 1:76.2 Scale, for HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale, for O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 Scale, for O Gauge America print at 158%, 1/48 Scale. for N gauge print at 51.49%, 1/148 scale. (Caution: I have not printed this model in N gauge so can’t guarantee its printability)
These items are probably best printed on a 3D Resin Printer. For O Gauge these items can easily be printed on a 3D Resin or Filament Printers. Examples were printed on an AnyCubic Photon M3 Printer.
The main resins I use for printing can be found with my affiliated links below. I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
