These items have been designed at 1/76 scale but can be printed at other scales.Primarily these items have been designed to be printed on a FDM printer but can also be printed on a Resin Printer.designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale.for HO gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale, for O gauge UK at 175%, 1/43.5 Scale, for O gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 Scale, for N gauge print at 51.49%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not printed this model in N gauge so can’t guarantee its printability)
When railway arches are used to support elevated railway lines some of the arches are used as walkways or have roads travelling through them so this design enables you to do this. This item could also be used to make a bridge.I have created a set of files that can be glued together to create the length you require under the track. The average brick size is about 3mm long and these sections are made up of factors of 3mm. The sizes I am including are of the following lengths: 9mm, 18mm, 36mm, 48mm and 96mm. With these lengths, you should be able to create any length required.
The railway arch sections are 120mm wide and either 100m or 120mm tall. The arch front is about 9mm deep. These are designed to be printed inverted on an FDM printer, this way up they don’t need support.
The arch centre is 100mm wide and about 65mm high, the arch centre is 70mm high
These items are designed to be bought with my original design ‘Model Railway Retaining Walls with Arches’ which includes blank arches, end walls and other associated items. I’m also developing commercial arch infills.Arches ending with 100 are the 100mm tall version and those ending with 120 are the 120mm tall versions. All the actual arches are the same size.
