Mandalorian Helmet 3D Printable Model

Mandalorian Helmet 3D Printable Model 3D print model

Description

Ready to print Star Wars Mandalorian Helmet 3D model (digital file).

You can see my models after printing here: https://www.instagram.com/sonndersmith/

You need at least 220 x 210 x 200 mm build volume to print the mask. Contact me if your printer is smaller and I’ll split the files up according to your parameters.

Average wall thickness of each big part has an optimal value for resin casting: 4-5 mm.

I don’t mind if you’re going to sell masks made using my models, all I want from you is tagging me on Instagram in your relevant posts (@sonndersmith).

Listing contains:

  • printable files of several separated parts of the helmet;
  • low poly template for the visor (you can use Pepakura for unwrapping it);
  • low poly model of inner surface of the helmet*.

  • Before 3D printing you can check the helmet size by making low poly version of it out from paper using Pepakura. If the paper helmet fits to you head you may print the file, if not, try to change its size at a certain percentage and when you find proper value just use the same percentage for 3D printing. This approach helps you to save a lot of filament and time.

The file is scaled for an average 57 cm girth head, but the size could be changed if need, for free.

Contact me if you have any questions.

UPD: 02 Feb 2020 The model is remade according to new references.

Can you split the helmet so I can grow it on my Ender 3 V2?

I don’t know where to begin. I have to blame myself for doing better research. I tried to print the ears with brim and supports , how do I explain this, the printer goes past the supports and prints way past the supports in mid air. I tried to print helmet and my walls were way too thin. Maybe it’s too much for me. However I have printed others with no problem. How can I get a refund?
