Long Wooden boxes have been used for a long time to transport long objects to keep them safe whilst being transported.
I have developed a few designs for people to download and print, the box lids are separately printed.
The real sizes would be: !st is about 25ft long, about 2.5ft wide and 2.4ft high (7.6m x 0.76m x 0.7m) 2nd is about 18ft long, about 3.2ft wide and 2ft high (5.5m x 1m x 0.6m) 3rd is about 12ft long, about 3.5ft wide and 2ft high (3.6m x 1.1m x 0.6m)
These have all been modeled in OO Guage 1/76 scale but can be easily scaled up or down. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale; For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale; For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale; For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale; for N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
The examples in the pictures were printed on an AnyCubic Proton M3 3D resin printer. I recommend printing these on a 3D resin printer to get the best print definition. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
The main resins I use for printing can be found with my affiliated links below. I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
