Dr Doom Helmet 3D Printable Model 3D print model

Ready to print Doctor Doom (Dr. Victor Von Doom) Helmet 3D model (wearable). The design replicates the helmet version shown in “Fantastic Four” movie (2005).

The model consists of several pieces, the back part of the helmet connects to the front one with neodymium magnets (4 cylindrical magnets of 10*3 mm each), magnet slots are embedded into design. There are some small pieces which can be 3D printed separately. There is a special frame from inside the face part, behind the mouth, for inserting metal mesh in it (a printable file for a mesh template is also included). The folder also contains a split version of the helmet for 220*210*200 mm build volume. The helmet is scaled to fit an average man head of 58 cm circumference. If you need another size of the helmet or another split type please let me know. The model has some tiny recesses, rivets and thin gaps so it makes sense to use resin printing instead of FDM, or at least to use a nozzle smaller than 0.4 mm and layer height less than 0.2 mm.

All the files have an optimal number of polygons (triangles), the face part has less than 360 000 polys, the back one has less than 180 000 polys.

All the files were checked for mesh errors.

The face part size: 206*269*185 mm. The back part size: 198*223*239 mm.

The folder contains files in 3 file formats: STL, OBJ, 3MF.
