The order of work
After 3D printing of the master model, carefully treat the surface from the remnants of supporting structures and illuminate the resulting print with ultraviolet light. Then glue the panel (3). Fold the formwork and insulate the seam around the perimeter with a wide masking tape to avoid silicone leakage into the seam. Attach the master model to the formwork with fixing screws, then fix the mounting truss (2) on top. The structure is ready for pouring.IMPORTANT!!!
When using a printed photopolymer master model, check its compatibility with the silicone you will be working with. Platinum-based silicone is susceptible to inhibition at the point of contact with most resins. Just saying, it won't freeze. To work, choose a special photopolymer suitable for working with platinum silicone, or use tin-based silicone. Also, to obtain a high-quality casting, use a vacuum chamber for degassing, and follow the instructions of the silicone manufacturer during operation. And everything will work out for you!----------------------------------------------------------
Dimensions of the master model - 90x70x25 mm + to the height of the pad 5 mm silicone consumption ~ 210 grams
